ADDITIONAL INSTALLMENT OF DA RELEASED
The Union Cabinet has approved an additional installment of Dearness Allowance (DA) to central government employees and Dearness Relief (DR) to pensioners w.e.f. 1.1.2012 representing an increase of 7% over the existing rate of 58% of the Basic Pay/Pension, to compensate for price rise.Total DA will be 65% from 01.01.2012.
