SETTING UP OF 7 TH PAY COMMISSION

      The Union Government has announced for setting up the 7^th Central Pay Commission for the Central Govt Employees toady. Name of Chairman and members of the commission Will be announced shortly so that the commission may submit its report in next two years. In practice it is seen that the benefits of C.P.C is implemented in every ten years. The 6^th C.P.C recommendations has given effect from 01.01.2006, naturally the 7^th C.P.C recommendation will be taken effect from 01.01.2016.

The Union Cabinet approved additional installment of Dearness Allowance (DA) to central government employees and Dearness Relief (DR) to pensioners with effect from 01.07.2013 at the rate of 10%. Over all DA will be 90%. Order is expected to be released shortly.
