1) PROTECTION OF TRCA OF GDS.
On 21.01.2012 Postal JCA met Sri Sachin Pilot (MOS) and discussed various GDS issues like protection of TRCA etc. The Minister agreed to issue necessary instructions to the Secretary (P) to protect the TRCA Orders are expected to be issued soon.
2) GRANT OF CYCLE MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCES TO POSTMEN.
All the Postmen who are utilizing cycle for delivery of mails have been granted Cycle Maintenance Allowance without any distance criteria. After due approval of the Divisional Heads subject to satisfaction of prescribed conditions from 17.01.2012.DOP order No 1-02/2012-PAP dated 17.01.2012.
3) GRANT OF TA & DA TO THE MAIL OVERSEERS
Grant of TA & DA to Mail Overseers in place out station allowance .The MO will be entitled to normal TA & DA for their journeys beyond 8 kms from their HQ and reimbursement of actual travelling expenses in accordance with the Fundamental & Supplementary Rules (Part- II TA Rules) The existing night halt allowances payable to mail overseers is ordered to be withdrawn with immediate effect. 4) GRANT OF CCL TO THE FEMALE STATE GOVT EMPLOYEE (WEST BENGAL)
The West Bengal Cabinet committee has decided to grant a special Child Care Leave for 2 years for Female State Government Employees. The rules and regulations are same with the Central Govt. Employees
